Elite Tumbling Requirements

Athletes on Elite teams develop advanced tumbling, stunting, jumps, and choreography while learning the importance of dedication, accountability, and teamwork. The tumbling skills below represent the minimum requirements athletes should demonstrate or be actively working toward in order to be placed on an Elite team.

LEVEL 1 SKILLS

Standing Advanced

Athletes should demonstrate strong control and body awareness with beginner inverted skills.

Required Skills:

  • Back Walkover – Backward Roll – Back Walkover

Standing Elite

Athletes should show consistent back walkover technique and connected standing skills.

Running Advanced

Athletes should demonstrate control with basic running tumbling combinations.

Running Elite

Athletes should show strong technique and multiple connected skills.

Required Skills:

  • Cartwheel – Back Walkover – Back Walkover

Athletes should demonstrate strong jump technique and height.

Athletes should demonstrate multiple connected back handsprings.

Running Elite

Athletes should demonstrate flipping passes with strong technique.

Required Skills:

  • Front Walkover – Aerial
  • Round Off – Back Handspring – Tuck
  • Round Off – Back Handspring Step Out – ½ Turn – Round Off – Tuck
  • Front Walkover – Round Off – Back Handspring – Tuck

LEVEL 4 SKILLS

Athletes begin incorporating standing flips.
