Tumbling Classes

Our Tumbling Classes are designed to help athletes build strong fundamentals and advance their skills in a safe, structured environment. Whether you’re working on cartwheels and backbends or perfecting back handsprings and tucks, we offer leveled instruction to support every stage of progression. These classes are a great way to boost confidence, flexibility, and power—whether you’re a cheerleader, gymnast, or just love to tumble!

Beginner Tumbling

Tumbling is one of the basic building blocks to being a cheerleader. In our Beginner Cheer Tumbling Class, our instructors teach students from the ground up how to do cartwheels, round-offs, and walk-overs. After you have reached a certain level and after you feel more comfortable we will then begin working your way up to doing back handsprings.

Beg/Int Tumbling

The Beginner Intermediate Cheer Tumbling Class is designed especially for students who have their walkovers and are ready to progress to handsprings. This 1 1/2 hour class will focus on drills and strength needed to successfully execute standing and running back handsprings, and front handsprings.

Intermediate Tumbling

Students participating in our Intermediate Cheer Tumbling Camp will already know how to properly do back handsprings. We help students add back handsprings combination passes as well as learn the basics to connecting tumbling to back tucks. As students learn to master these skills our experienced instructors carefully monitor proper form and technique.

Advanced Tumbling

The cheerleaders participating in our Advanced Cheer Tumbling Class will learn how to master their front and back tuck passes, layouts, and up to double full passes. Our 360 instructors focus on form and technique to ensure tumblers at this level are making proper progressions safely.  At South Bay 360 we are pros at developing expert tumblers!

Dance & Acro Class

This tumbling class is designed with dancers in mind. Our Dance Acro class focuses on tumbling skills specific to dance tumbling. Students in the Dance Acro class will work on tumbling basics, walkovers, ariels, handspring step-outs and more.
